The Kaysersberg paper mill is ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified ; this last certification allows the mill to produce and sell a certain tonnage of FSC certified products.
Chouanard cardboard factory
The DS Smith Chouanard cardboard box packaging manufacturer specialises in the production of cardboards from recycled paper and cardboards, along with certain specialist products, such as foam-backed cardboards.
The cardboard factory has ISO 9001:2000 certification.
The Chouanard cardboard factory produces:
- Grey, white and coloured cardboard in sheets or reels, ranging from 140 to 360 g/m2, for packaging, collapsible boxes, toilet roll cores and cardboard tubes.
- Double thickness flat grey cardboards (1 to 3.5 mm thick) in die-cuts or sheets, as well as die-cuts for the book industry: diaries, books, calendars and binders.
- Cardboards (1 to 3.5 mm thick) with a foam coating (2 to 4 mm) for book-binding and diaries.
