FSC product quota
The Kaysersberg cardboard mill owned by the DS Smith Kaysersberg company obtained FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification, which allows it to produce and sell an annual quota of FSC-certified recycled cardboard. FSC is an eco-label which indicates that a wood-based product (in this case, recycled paper) respects procedures that are meant to guarantee the sustainable development of forests.
This new certification supplements the "Quality, Security and Environment" policy and strengthens the Kaysersberg factory's firm commitment to sustainable development.
